Immerse yourself in an unforgettable ride on the invigorating point-to-point Trappers Gap route. Warm up the legs as you roll out of the Mill campground on lush Mitta Valley's sealed country roads in preparation for the coming ascents. From this point the challenge begins, slowly climbing on 4WD bush tracks into the rugged wilderness filled with technical long climbs and descents. Ride to the soundtrack of birdsong as you take in the rewarding mountain views of Mt Bogong and Mt Kosciuszko before descending into Kiewa Valley and onto the township of Mount Beauty. Expert riding skills and self-sufficiency in remote conditions are required to ride this route. Don't forget to pre-organise a lift or have the stamina to return via the same route.
